Suad Kunosić

Suad Kunosić, Ph.D. is an Associate Professor of Physics at the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics, University of Tuzla, Bosnia and Herzegovina, where he also completed both his undergraduate and doctoral studies.

In april 2018 together with his colleague professor Zerem, present computer software that simply computes the Z-score (new science metrics system) as well as its component components. He has authored and co-authored more than 45 scientific articles, including 30 indexed in WoS and 34 in Scopus, contributing significantly to the advancement of research in his fields of expertise.

He served as Dean of the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics, University of Tuzla, from 2014 to 2016. Since 2021, he has been a member of the Steering Board of the Agency for Development of Higher Education and Quality Assurance of Bosnia and Herzegovina, where he has held the positions of Chair and Vice-Chair, and was re-elected Chair in June 2025.

In addition, he has served since October 2023 as Head of the Department of Physics at the University of Tuzla, and since late 2023 as a member of the Ethics Committee of the University Clinical Center Tuzla. In July 2025, he was appointed Chair of the Cantonal Council for Science and Technology in Tuzla Canton.
