Biography
Alma Kadušić graduated in 2004, earned her master’s degree in 2008, and completed her PhD in 2011 at the Department of Geography, Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics, University of Tuzla. Since 2005, she has been employed at the same University, where she has gained extensive experience in teaching and scientific research in the fields of geography and tourism.
Her professional and research expertise covers a broad range of human geography disciplines, with a particular focus on population geography and the application of spatial analysis and spatial statistics in demographic research. Throughout her career, she has contributed to understanding demographic processes and their spatial implications in Bosnia and Herzegovina, applying innovative methodologies and modern analytical approaches. She is the author and co-author of more than 30 papers published in internationally recognized journals indexed in Web of Science, Scopus, and other relevant databases. She has participated in the implementation of two professional, two scientific, and one international project under the Erasmus+ program. Since 2024, she has been listed as an HEA expert representing the academic community. She is fluent in English (B2) and has a working knowledge of German (B1). Through her dedicated work in education and research, Dr. Alma Kadušić contributes to the development of geography and to strengthening the international visibility of the Bosnian and Herzegovinian scientific community.
